Mission

The VNET5 Network was funded by the European Commission (IST-2000-25465) from January 2001-2003. Since February 2003 it is maintained by ACit GmbH. The VNET5 Network aims to advance the level of maturity of user-centred product creation and user validation in electronic publishing projects by

• promoting user-centred product creation and a common approach to user validation

• raising the level of skills and competence of user-centred product creation and validation in IST projects

• analysing generic requirements for user acceptance of electronic information products and services

• documenting and disseminating resources for user-centred product creation and validation.
